Cornichon (Beau) cools his feet after a BIG showjumping session with Lili Bennett

15.2 hh bay 1997 Thoroughbred gelding by Boc (TB) out of Luz Maria (TB) by Loose Cannon (TB).

“Beau” is our 12 yo TB gelding out of the Cormac line that produced the legendary Ballycor -- the last American TB to win an Olympic gold medal.

Beau began eventing at 10, moving up to Preliminary at 11 and winning at the Marlborough Horse Trials.

Beau is being ridden by Lili Bennett and is based out of Plain Dealing Farm in Scottsville, VA. Lili and Beau moved up to the Intermediate level this year and are concentrating on qualifying to compete in a CCI** event. As the little guy with a big heart, Beau is a favorite at the barn.

Four Generation Pedigree for Cornichon

The pedigree for Cornichon is highlighted by Cormac on the top side and Nijinsky on the bottom. His breeding is reflective of the classic timber racer, a long distance runner with a scopey jump.
