Foxglen's Fancy (Fiona)

16.3 hh gray 2005 Irish Sport Horse mare by Foxglen Himself (RID) out of Fancy Candi (TB) by Candi’s Gold.

“Fiona” was started under saddle in the fall of her second year, beginning serious training the following spring with Anne Riley at Warren Hill Farm (VA).

Fiona is proving herself to be a solid allround prospect. She is a very nice mover and showing promise in the field as well. We are very excited about Fiona’s multi-faceted potential!

Fiona paid close attention to the lessons that her dam Amber taught her, and has become the best babysitter on the farm. The young horses all love Fiona and follow her leadership. She has an uncommonly intelligent eye and is gradually maturing into the Irish Draught frame that Foxglen passed on to her.

Currently offered for sale at $15,000.

Pedigree

Four Generation Pedigree for Foxglen's Fancy

The pedigree for Foxglen's Fancy shows the influence of her Irish sire, Foxglen Himself, who is one of the few Registered Irish Draught stallions imported to the US  actually in the RID studbook in Dublin. American Thoroughbred speed and endurance are brought by her dam, Fancy Candi, on the bottom side.
