Little Petey was imprinted at birth, loves people and is another chestnut offspring from the pairing of Fancy Candi and Pallas Digion.

Eventing NewsLili Bennett is the co-owner of Full o' Fancy (Flo) and is training our young eventers.
Lili is currently eventing Flo at Preliminary and Cornichon (Beau), our TB gelding from the Ballycor line, is in the process of moving up to Intermediate.

Here are the latest happenings at Southgate Farm:
Cornichon (Beau), our 12 year-old TB gelding from the Ballycor line, moved up to the Preliminary level last spring. With Lili Bennett posting qualifying scores on Beau in each of his first 4 Prelim outings in 2008, the pair went on to win a Preliminary division at Marlborough Horse Trials. Lili and Beau are now concentrating on posting the scores necessary to qualify for a CCI** event.
On Saturday, May 17, 2008, we welcomed another beautiful foal to our family of horses. Our Grade 1 Eventer, Politically Correct (Polly) delivered a bright-eyed, healthy black filly by Innkeeper, a son of Secretariat. After some debate, she was named Rainy Night Inn; her barn name is Georgia. Polly really seemed to be enjoying motherhood the second time around; she and Georgia were inseparable.
