Gardeners Tour and Q&A

Join us for a farm tour geared toward home gardeners! We will gladly divulge all of our production secrets for vegetables here at Southgate Farm. Please bring all your gardening questions, because we'll have an open floor for group discussion. 

This tour involves a significant walk between the garden and our parking area at the barn. Please bring comfortable walking shoes. We will discuss our methods for starting seeds from home, along with management practices to deal with pests, plant health, soil health and weeds. We will survey participants after arrival and gear the tour and discussion toward whatever topics are of most interest. This is designed to be a fun and casual experience at the farm, and we hope you enjoy! 

Participants must be 16 years of age or older. Group size is limited to 10 participants. Masks are not required as we will be in open air, but we ask participants to maintain proper social distancing. We can handle a little bit of rain, spending more time in the barn than garden, but if we have significant thunderstorms, the backup date for this event is the following week at the same time.
